FOF gear and the School of Rock
Featured on Fridays as you know is actively involved with the School of Rock mentoring young rockers. We are proud to be involved with kids who enjoy learning how to play classic rock. FOF would like to thank our endorsers Markbass and DV mark amps. We also would like to thank DR strings, Spectraflex cables and Vigier Guitars. Kids are getting experience of playing top quality instruments as we always have our gear on hand when we teach at the School of Rock.
Live Recordings & Video, Markbass & DV Mark
We're getting ready in the next couple of weeks to do some video work and live recordings at Flagraiser Studios with the band. Start a pot of coffee, and writing out charts into the night, and getting the pre-production stuff out of the way. Will be posting some clips as soon as it happens.
We are also in pre-production stages for our recordings with Ira Sullivan, so there is a lot of creativity brewing right now.
Also, the Markbass rig has arrived, and we are currently awaiting the DV Mark shipment. Pictures to follow as soon as the whole shipment arrives!

FOF Recording Studio Jazz Instrumental Album with Ira Sullivan
FOF has begun rehearsal for a new upcoming album with legendary jazz multi-instrumentalist Ira Sullivan, due in late Spring 2011.
Currently writing out charts & arrangements, putting on new strings on basses & guitars, & stocking up on espresso for late night wood-shedding sessions!!
We'll be filming the sessions & will include them on a compilation DVD, to be released along with the album.
